production blog - the final cut

The moment has come I finally get to edit. First and foremost, I had to change everything of the setting because it was a rainy day. So, we had to improvise and it was getting very late. We got it done though. I just have to remix the song to fit 1 minute. As much as I would have loved to do the whole song, I only have limited time. I have a bit of a problem though because i feel like I didn't record enough clips. I was seriously on a time crunch. I will make it work though. I was thinking of editing 2 audios together to add a dance break. I scratched that Idea because knowing me I will never learn a dance in a few hours. For editing i pretty much cut the clips. I then put them in an order which I believe fit the song part the most. I'm honestly not so sure if i did enough to get a good grade. I did make sure to put the pan and tilt i think. I did different shots as well.  All in all the editing did not turn out too bad. It was a bit more difficult than the commercial. My commercial was more of a disaster. I hope I showed growth in my editing.

 Hello, I am back. To make some more progress on the film I will be creating soon very soon I wanted to do some research. This is to ensure that I have the right idea for this short film and don't end up making any silly mistakes. Since my genre will be a mystery I will make sure to research a bit on that topic. CCR - The End

  CCR My short film showcased the way mentally ill liars can affect others in society. This sheds light on liars in society which it isn’t really much reflected on. The main character in the short film would not stop lying about her life experiences to her previous friend group. People like this in society are not seen as good people. You can never know whether they are lying or not. This caused a rather untrustworthy feeling towards her causing them to feel different about her. Which is understandable because being friends with someone who can never be honest with you is rather exhausting. It was to the point where they had to stop being friends with her. This can be related to real life problems where people in the media constantly lie about their lifestyle for attention, but then it is then revealed that they actually never lived that way.
