 Hey blogger! It is finally for the second day of filming. I am just ready to get this over with I am tired of school. The show must go on though I got the filming done. Now that the park scenes were done we had to film the house scenes. We went to my house after school to do the end of the film. There was a scene where I had to print out a bunch of pictures and have them around my room. Since I am the luckiest person ever, the printer has run out of ink. We were no longer able to print out the pictures. This was a major setback because I didn't expect that to happen. I had nothing prepared, so we just all sat there thinking. It turned into us procrastinating for so long. I became unsure if we would really be able to finish the short film that day. My lifesavers, Sophia and Camila came up with good alternative scenes to make up for the scenes with the pictures. We used my laptop and phone for photos in some of the scenes. Hey, blog! After all that, it is time to film. This week's film will be the minimum because there is so much going on at school for me and my actors. We have to do a lot of studying and focus on an important exam we have on Thursday. originally we were planning on filming on Wednesday but it was changed. After our exam on Wednesday, we went to Charley Cheesesteak to have a meal before filming began. I obviously paid for everyone's food I wanted to make sure my actors were well taken care of. Since Sophia also had food for us when we filmed her opening sequence. I felt the need to also get us something I hope they appreciated it. After we ate, we walked to the park nearby to start filming the scenes that took place there. When we got there luckily there were not many people there. So, at the beginning, we let the food in our stomachs settle down before we were filming. It was rough when we first started because I did not have my script set up.  Hey, blog! It is time to make the social media for my project. This is something I actually am really good at. I have so many social media accounts I can't even count it on two hands. The forms of social media I most often use are X, TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. I would say it is hard to maintain these accounts because they constantly ask for phone numbers and email confirmation. For 1 person it is a lot holding these accounts since I only have one phone number. As for the emails, it is a bit easier to make multiple email accounts even though sometimes it is such a hassle. I thank Apple's password system for helping me know the passwords for all my accounts. Without it, this whole system would be tragic. Now, for the short film promotion, I will be making an Instagram and Twitter account. Filming is supposed to start very soon, but there are a few problems with me and my group of actors. We are all in one friend group Sophia, Camila, and me. These days there has been a weird tension between us. To be more mature about this, I actually feel like I am somewhat at fault for the tension. Lately, everything has been annoying me up to the littlest breath of anyone around me. To avoid saying anything wrong due to my attitude I simply just distance myself and keep quiet. I find this the best solution to avoid any fights or unwanted words to come out. Due to me distancing myself my friend Sophia thinks I am ignoring her. This is causing confusion because she thinks I am mad at her. I am not mad at her I just need time to myself.  Hey, blog! I started off by creating my postcard. I had a bit of experience creating digital postcards from the past. I am a bit rusty now, so I hope I still have the creativity in me. I honestly had no idea what I wanted for my postcard. I just went with the flow, I knew it had to be something that would attract a targeted audience. As well as have a focus on what my short film is actually about. I want it to have a creepy teenage vibe to it, so it'll fit my short film very well. I have decided to use Canva as the platform I'll be using to create my postcard. I have used Canva in the past and it is pretty easy to navigate. Canva is a website that provides editing creativity for free. You can able to create logos, resumes, posters, and more. The free tools were perfect for me since I do not have the budget to be paying any editing app subscriptions. Since I am not a good graphic designer I am having my friend help me.  Hey, blog! It is time to create my website. I have no experience in creating a website, so I am a bit worried before starting this part of the project. I do not have any expectations for this other than it not turning out the best. I did some research to find something that would help me create a website. I came across this creator on TikTok and they recommended to use the website Wix to create my website for the film. I was surprised at how easy it was to navigate it. All I had to do at first was link my new account to good. Afterward, it took me straight to this AI chat that helped with the key focuses on the website I will be making. The AI was a huge help in terms of time and decision-making. It helped create the website faster than I could have done all by myself. Also, it picked a lot of the choices as in design and hub name for me. This eliminated the hassle of having to think about all of it by myself. Hey, blog! We are continuing with the rough patches the unexpected happened while trying to ask if we could film another day in the bookstore. So, this made me realize that I wouldn't be able to do a lot of the scenes I wanted to have in my film. I won't let that make me give up on my short film I just have to try again. I plan on tweaking up a few scenes of my short film as well as some of the original plot. I don't plan on changing the plot too much it'll keep going in the same direction. One of the things I am changing is the scene that was going to be filmed at the bookstore. I had not realized that the store actually did not allow people to record in-store. Hey guys!!!! It has been so long since I have done a production. I can't believe it is already this time of the year. It felt like it was only yesterday that I began AICE media AS level. I was just a little sophomore working on my own not knowing if I could really do it all by myself. I ended up passing the exam with an E. That means that for my final task, I really have to put in the work to get a good score for my A level this year. I plan on starting my final task very soon. I still do not have much prepared. I want to do good, but this second semester is hitting me really hard. I am becoming more lazy throughout the school year and I am losing my will to keep working hard.
